Prothoma celebrated Independence Day with AIA

This year, Prothoma proudly joined the AIA Independence Day Parade with a fabulous float representing Kolakata and West Bengal. Our volunteers once again amazed everyone with their creativity and dedication, bringing Bengal’s vibrant culture to life on the streets of the Bay Area.

Members of all ages walked the short quarter-mile route with us—singing together, waving banners, and showing their pride and solidarity for Bengal. The energy and joy were infectious, and it was heartwarming to see the community come together in such a spirited way.

One of the highlights was the dance performance in front of nearly 4,000 people. Our dancers lit up the parade with their energy and talent, creating a truly unforgettable moment for both participants and the audience.
